RJ45 typically has 8 pins and is commonly used for Ethernet networking. RJ12 has 6 pins and is often used for telephone and modem connections. This cable bridges these two connector types.
No, this cable is specifically designed for connecting devices with RJ45 and RJ12 ports using a 1:1 configuration, often for telephone or ISDN. It is not a standard Ethernet cable for connecting computers to routers or switches.
It means the pinout is straight-through. Pin 1 on the RJ45 end connects to Pin 1 on the RJ12 end, Pin 2 to Pin 2, and so on, according to the 6-wire standard. This is for direct device communication.
No, this cable is not designed for connecting two computers directly or for network switch connections. It is for specific device-to-device communication between RJ45 and RJ12 ports.
It's commonly used for connecting telephones, fax machines, modems, ISDN devices, and other communication equipment that features RJ45 and RJ12 ports.

Avoid sharp bends, keep connectors clean, and protect it from extreme temperatures and moisture. Store it neatly when not in use.
Ensure both RJ45 and RJ12 plugs are fully inserted into their respective ports. Check for any physical damage to the cable. Verify that the connected devices are functioning correctly and configured for communication via these ports.
Confirm that the cable's 1:1 pinout configuration is compatible with the specific devices you are connecting. This cable is not an Ethernet crossover cable and should only be used for intended RJ45 to RJ12 device links.
This model offers a 10-meter length. If longer reach is required, consider alternative cables specifically designed for longer distances, ensuring they match the necessary port types and pinout.
