FAQs

When open, the calendar measures 610mm in height and 305mm in width.
Does the week start on Sunday or Monday?
The RSPB Garden Birds Calendar 2027 features a Monday start for each week.
Is the packaging recyclable?
Yes, the product is provided in plastic-free packaging, which can typically be recycled through standard paper recycling streams.
Can I use fountain pens on the paper?
While standard pens work well, we recommend testing a small area if using heavy ink-flow pens to ensure no bleed-through occurs.

Troubleshooting
Calendar pages are curling due to humidity
Move the calendar to a drier room or ensure it is not hung directly above a heat source or radiator.
Punched hole is tearing
Reinforce the back of the punched hole with a small piece of transparent tape or a dedicated paper hole reinforcer sticker.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Easy-to-read month-to-view layout
- Environmentally friendly plastic-free packaging
- Ready to hang straight out of the box
- Sturdy stapled binding
Cons

- Fixed layout offers no customization
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: simply find a wall hook or nail and place the pre-punched hole over it. The calendar is designed to stay flat against the wall thanks to the stapled spine. To maintain the calendar's condition, keep it away from direct, harsh sunlight to prevent fading of the bird illustrations, and avoid hanging it in high-humidity areas like a bathroom, which could cause the paper pages to curl. If you need to write on the calendar, place a piece of cardboard behind the active page to ensure a smooth, flat surface.
