Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the tire is clean and free of debris, especially around the bead seat and valve stem area.
- Deflate the old inner tube completely.
- Carefully remove the old inner tube from the tire.
- Slightly inflate the new SPARES2GO inner tube to give it shape. This makes installation easier.
- Insert the new inner tube into the tire, ensuring the valve stem passes through the valve hole in the rim.
- Seat the tire beads onto the rim, working evenly around the circumference.
- Inflate the tire to the recommended pressure, as indicated on the tire sidewall or in your equipment's manual.
- Check that the tire bead is seated evenly all around the rim.
Compatibility:
This inner tube is specifically sized for 3.50-8 tires. Always confirm that this size matches the marking on your existing tire sidewall before purchasing. It is compatible with most standard rims designed for this tire size, including those found on wheelbarrows, trailers, mobility scooters, garden carts, sack trucks, and ride-on lawnmowers.
Care:
- Periodically check tire pressure and inflate as needed to the manufacturer's recommendation.
- Inspect the tire for cuts, bulges, or embedded objects that could damage the inner tube.
- Keep the valve cap on to protect the Schrader valve from dirt and moisture.
- Clean the exterior of the tire and tube with a damp cloth if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals.
