No, these are steel tip darts designed exclusively for bristle boards. Using them on electronic boards will destroy the sensors.
The Winmau Cypher Steel Tip Darts come in a fixed weight of 24 grams.
Sharpen only when the point becomes blunt or develops a burr; avoid excessive sharpening to preserve the life of your dartboard.
While beginners can use them, the advanced grip and weight are specifically optimized for players looking for high-precision control.
The barrels are constructed from high-quality durable alloys engineered for longevity and consistent flight characteristics.
Ensure the board fibers are not dried out and that you are using an appropriate throwing force.
Use a dedicated tungsten or steel tip sharpener to carefully hone the point to a smooth, tapered finish.
Check your release angle and ensure the dart is hitting the board at a perpendicular trajectory.
To get the most out of your Cypher darts, ensure you are using a standard sisal bristle dartboard. Avoid using these steel tips on soft-tip or electronic boards as they will cause permanent damage. For care, keep the barrels dry and wipe them down with a microfiber cloth after play to remove sweat or skin oils that can clog the grip pattern. If the points become blunt, use a standard dart sharpener to maintain a fine tip, but avoid over-sharpening, which can tear the fibers of your dartboard.
