The recommended age group is adult, with an intermediate difficulty level. Adult supervision is advised if children are participating due to small parts and tools.
The kit contains materials to create six fully matched place settings.
The napkins are made from cotton fabric and can likely be washed, but hand washing on a gentle cycle is recommended to preserve the embroidery. Avoid harsh detergents and high heat drying.
The kit includes all necessary materials for place cards, menus, embroidered napkins, and crepe flowers. It also contains tools like a sewing needle, modeling clay, roller, and cutter.
The colors are described as soft and inviting pastels, suggesting a muted and harmonious palette rather than bright, vibrant tones.
Yes, the kit is versatile and suitable for special occasions, weddings, or simply elevating everyday meals to feel more special.
The kit is designed to be all-inclusive. However, you may find a ruler or a cutting mat helpful for precise work, though they are not strictly necessary.
Ensure you are using the provided glue or a suitable craft adhesive. Allow adequate drying time for each petal and stem before assembling. Gentle manipulation of the crepe paper can help set the shape.
Practice the embroidery stitches on a scrap piece of fabric before working on the final napkin. Ensure the fabric is taut while stitching, and use a consistent tension.
If the clay is slightly stiff, try kneading it thoroughly in your hands to warm it up. If it's excessively dry, a tiny amount of water might help, but use sparingly to avoid making it sticky.
Score the fold line lightly with the back of a craft knife or a ruler edge before folding. This creates a crisp, clean crease for a professional finish.
Setup: No specific setup is required for the kit itself. Begin by reviewing the included instructions. Gather all components listed in the contents. Dedicate a clear workspace, as the kit includes various materials like clay, fabric, and paper.
Compatibility: This kit is designed as a standalone product. The materials included are intended for use with each other to create the specified table decorations. While additional elements like a linen tablecloth or candles can complement the finished pieces, they are not required for the kit's function.
Care: The crafted decorations are primarily for display and should be handled with care. Due to the materials used (paper, fabric, clay), they are not washable and should be kept away from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent fading or damage. Store them in a dry place when not in use.
