FAQs

What battery does this rod light use?

It uses a CR425 battery, which is included in the package.

Will this fit my ultralight rod?

As long as your rod tip diameter is between 1.5mm and 4mm, it will fit.

Is the light waterproof?

The light is designed for fishing conditions, but you should avoid submerging it fully in water for extended periods.

Does the light affect casting balance?

It is designed to be lightweight to minimize any interference with your rod's casting action.

Can I leave the light on the rod during transport?

It is recommended to remove the light before storing your rod to prevent accidental damage to the clip or the rod tip.

Troubleshooting

Light fails to turn on

Ensure the CR425 battery is inserted correctly according to the polarity markings and that the cap is tightened securely.

Light clips loosely onto the rod tip

Verify that the rod tip diameter is within the 1.5mm to 4mm range; if it is at the lower end of the range, ensure the clip is centered on the tip.

Dim light output

The battery may be depleted; replace the CR425 battery with a fresh cell.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To install, slide the clip onto the tip section of your rod, ensuring the light is positioned so it does not obstruct your line guides. The unit is compatible with rod tip diameters between 1.5mm and 4mm. When finished with your session, remove the light from the rod to prevent damage during transport. To prolong battery life, remove the CR425 battery if you plan to store the unit for an extended period. Keep the housing dry and wipe off any salt spray or debris with a damp cloth after use to maintain the clip's grip.
