FAQs

What is the primary terrain for the Procaliber 6?

It is designed primarily for cross-country mountain biking, including singletrack, fire roads, and race courses.

How much travel does the front suspension provide?

The bike is equipped with a 120mm travel RockShox fork.

Is the frame made of carbon or aluminum?

The Procaliber 6 features a modern alloy frame built using low-emission manufacturing processes.

Does it come with a 12-speed drivetrain?

Yes, it is equipped with a reliable Shimano 12-speed drivetrain for a wide range of gearing.

Can I use this bike for jumps and drops?

While it is a capable trail bike, it is optimized for cross-country efficiency rather than heavy-duty downhill or freeride jumping.

Troubleshooting

Drivetrain skipping or mis-shifting

Adjust the barrel adjuster on the rear derailleur to fine-tune cable tension.

Suspension feels too stiff or bottoms out

Use a shock pump to adjust the air pressure in the fork to match the recommended sag for your rider weight.

Brakes feel mushy or lack stopping power

Check the brake pads for wear and ensure the hydraulic lines are free of air bubbles; consider a brake bleed if performance does not improve.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Efficient power transfer for climbing
Precise handling for tight trail sections
Robust 12-speed Shimano drivetrain
Environmentally conscious frame manufacturing

120mm travel may feel limited on extreme downhill terrain
Requires professional mechanical maintenance

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure peak performance, it is recommended to have your Procaliber 6 professionally assembled and tuned. Regularly check your tire pressure before each ride to match the trail conditions. The drivetrain requires periodic cleaning and lubrication to maintain smooth shifting. Periodically inspect the suspension stanchions for debris and ensure the air pressure in your fork is set to your specific body weight using a shock pump. Because this bike features a modern performance geometry, ensure your seat height and cockpit reach are adjusted to your unique measurements to prevent fatigue during long rides.
