Product Information

Full details

The Hug Rug Animal Pattern Rug in green is designed for homeowners and families looking for a sustainable, low-maintenance floor covering that adds a whimsical touch to living rooms or bedrooms. Its standout benefit is its extreme durability and ease of care, as the rug is fully machine washable and stain-resistant. One caveat for potential buyers is that the 120 x 185 cm dimensions are fixed, making it best suited for specific floor areas rather than wall-to-wall coverage.

FAQs

Can I put this rug in the tumble dryer?

Is this rug safe for pets?

Yes, the durable construction and non-slip backing make it a pet-friendly choice for indoor spaces.

Does it require a rug pad?

No, this rug comes with an integrated natural rubber backing that provides sufficient grip on most indoor surfaces.

What materials are used in this rug?

The rug is crafted from recycled materials in Britain to reduce environmental impact.

Can this be used on carpeted floors?

While it can be used on carpets, the non-slip backing is most effective when placed on smooth, hard surfaces like wood, tile, or vinyl.

Troubleshooting

Rug edges curling

Lay the rug flat and place heavy, flat objects on the corners for 24-48 hours to help the material settle.

Slight slipping on floor

Ensure the floor surface is clean and free of dust or debris before placing the rug, as fine dust can occasionally affect the grip of the rubber backing.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: simply unroll the rug in your desired location. The natural rubber backing provides immediate grip. For long-term care, vacuum regularly to prevent grit from settling into the fibers. Should you encounter a spill, spot clean with mild detergent. To machine wash, ensure your machine is rated for the rug's weight, use a 30-degree cycle, and avoid harsh bleaching agents to protect the animal pattern and the integrity of the green tape border. Always lay the rug flat to dry to ensure it retains its shape.
