Aluminium oxide is a durable abrasive suitable for general-purpose sanding on wood, metal, and painted surfaces. It's known for its longevity and ability to provide a consistent finish.
This is a medium-grit sandpaper, primarily intended for smoothing and preparation. For very fine finishing, you would typically move to finer grits (e.g., 180-220 grit and above) after using this paper.
Yes, this sandpaper is suitable for general-purpose sanding on metal surfaces, particularly for preparing them for painting or removing minor imperfections.
The sandpaper is designed to be flexible enough to conform to challenging shapes, contours, and mouldings, allowing for more even sanding in difficult areas.
Each pack contains four high-quality sheets of sandpaper.
This sandpaper is designed for single use. While light dusting might be possible, its performance degrades significantly with repeated use and cleaning is not recommended.
It is ideal for sanding bare wood, filler, semi-rough surfaces, and painted surfaces.
Ensure you are applying adequate pressure and that the surface is appropriate for medium-grit sandpaper. Check if the sandpaper sheet is worn out or clogged and replace it if necessary.
Reduce the pressure applied. Ensure the grit is appropriate for the task; consider a finer grit if scratches are too deep. Sand in the direction of the wood grain.
This can occur if too much pressure is applied, especially on edges or contours. Ensure the surface being sanded is free of sharp objects that could snag the paper. For flexible sanding, use consistent pressure.
No specific setup is required; the sandpaper sheets are ready for immediate use. They are compatible with bare wood, filler, painted surfaces, and some metal applications. As this is a disposable product, there is no specific care or cleaning regimen. Once a sheet becomes clogged with dust or the abrasive surface is worn down, it should be replaced with a new sheet to maintain optimal performance.
