Full details
The Croydex Tramonti Toilet Seat in Brown is designed for homeowners seeking an easy-to-install, secure, and stylish bathroom upgrade. Its key benefit is the patented Flexi-Fix™ system, ensuring a 'never slips' fit on standard UK toilet pans. FAQs
Is this toilet seat suitable for all toilet shapes?
The Croydex Tramonti seat is designed to fit all standard UK toilet pans. While the Flexi-Fix™ hinges offer adjustability, it is not guaranteed to fit non-standard or uniquely shaped pans.
How is the seat installed?
Installation is tool-free. The seat uses patented self-adhesive hinges that attach directly to the pan. Simply peel, position, and tighten.
How do I clean the toilet seat?
Clean the seat with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners. The quick-release hinges allow for easy removal for thorough cleaning.
What does the 'Hygiene 'n' Clean' treatment do?
This is an anti-microbial treatment that provides protection against bacteria, helping to reduce staining and odour for a more hygienic bathroom.
Does the seat have a soft-close function?
Yes, it features soft-close hinges to prevent the seat from slamming shut, ensuring quiet operation and reducing wear and tear.
What are the dimensions of the toilet seat?
The toilet seat measures approximately 46.3cm in length and 37.5cm in width.
What material is the seat made from?
The seat is constructed from quality moulded wood with a durable, wipe-clean oak-effect foil covering.
Troubleshooting
Seat still slips after installation
Ensure the toilet pan surface where the hinges are applied is perfectly clean and dry. Re-position and ensure the hinges are tightened securely. Check that the seat is compatible with your specific toilet pan shape.
Soft close feature is not working
Verify that the seat is correctly aligned and fully closed. Sometimes, slight misalignment can affect the soft close mechanism. Ensure no debris is obstructing the hinge movement.
Hinges feel loose
Check if the tightening mechanism on the hinges needs to be adjusted. If the adhesive has lost its grip, ensure the surface is clean and re-apply according to instructions. All fittings are included; check if any part requires re-securing.
Seat is difficult to remove for cleaning
Locate the quick-release mechanism on the hinges. This usually involves pressing a button or lifting a lever while detaching the seat from the hinge posts.
