Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unboxing: Carefully remove your new F50 Elite boots from their packaging.
- Initial Try-On: Try the boots on to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Wear your usual football socks to get the most accurate feel.
- Lacing: Utilize the lace-up fastening to secure the boots firmly. Adjust the laces to achieve a snug but not overly tight fit, allowing for natural foot movement without slippage.
- Break-In Period: Like most football boots, a short break-in period may be beneficial to allow the materials to conform to your foot shape. Start with lighter training sessions before full match play.
Compatibility
- Pitch Type: These boots are designed exclusively for Firm Ground (FG) pitches, which are natural grass surfaces that are dry and well-maintained. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or soft ground (SG) can damage the boots and reduce performance.
- Age Group: Designed for adult players.
Care & Maintenance
Taking proper care of your boots will extend their lifespan and maintain performance:
- Cleaning After Use: After every use, gently wipe down the boots to remove dirt and debris. A damp cloth is usually sufficient for the HybridTouch upper.
- Outsole Cleaning: Use a soft brush (like a toothbrush) to clean mud and grass from the Sprintframe 360 outsole and studs. Ensure no debris is lodged between the studs.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight), as this can cause materials to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
