FAQs

Is the copper material solid or plated?

The Fazeley Flow is crafted from solid sheet copper.

Does the watering can come with a warranty?

Yes, it is backed by a 5-year guarantee from HAWS.

How do I prevent the copper from turning green?

Keep the surface clean and dry. Regular wiping and occasional polishing will help maintain the original luster and prevent heavy oxidation.

Is this suitable for outdoor use?

This model is specifically designed for indoor potted houseplants.

What is the capacity of the can?

It has a two-pint capacity, ideal for typical indoor plant maintenance.

Can I use this to fertilize my plants?

Yes, but be sure to rinse the can thoroughly after each use to prevent residue from clogging the spout or reacting with the copper.

Troubleshooting

Visible spots on the surface

These are likely water spots or early patina. Wipe down with a soft, dry cloth or use a copper-safe polish to restore the shine.

Flow appears restricted

Check the spout opening for any physical obstructions or calcium buildup from hard water; rinse with a mild vinegar solution if necessary.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

There is no complex setup required for this product; simply fill and use. For care, note that the solid copper will naturally develop a patina through oxidation. To keep the finish bright, use a gentle copper cleaner or a soft polishing cloth periodically. Avoid using abrasive sponges that could scratch the surface. Ensure the can is emptied after use to prevent mineral deposits from accumulating inside, and store in a dry place to maintain the integrity of the metal.
