Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Begin by ensuring your subfloor is clean, dry, and as level as possible. Lay out the mats, aligning the interlocking edges. Gently press down to connect the pieces. For a tighter fit, you may need to use a rubber mallet to tap the edges together. Trim any excess interlocking tabs if necessary for a precise fit against walls or equipment.
Compatibility: These mats are compatible with most standard gym equipment, including weight racks, cardio machines, and free weights. They are suitable for use over concrete, wood, or existing resilient flooring. Avoid placing them in areas with excessive direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can cause fading or degradation over time.
Care: Regular cleaning can be done with a vacuum cleaner or a broom. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the rubber. Ensure mats are thoroughly dried after cleaning to prevent moisture buildup.
