Troubleshooting

Island wobbles or feels unstable

Ensure all screws and bolts are fully tightened. Check that the casters are properly secured. If on an uneven surface, consider adjusting caster placement if possible or using small shims.

Doors or drawers do not close smoothly

Verify that the island is on a level surface. Check for any obstructions within the drawers or door hinges. Ensure hinges are correctly aligned and not damaged.

Foldable leaf is stiff or difficult to operate

Gently operate the leaf mechanism. Ensure there are no obstructions. Over time, slight lubrication on the hinges might help, but use sparingly and avoid grease on the worktop.

Worktop has stains or marks

For fresh spills, wipe immediately with a damp cloth and dry. For tougher stains on the oak top, use a mild soap solution, rinse well, and dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Assembly is required. Detailed instructions are typically provided with the product. It is recommended to have a second person assist during assembly due to the unit's weight and components. Ensure all screws and fittings are tightened securely before use.

Compatibility: This kitchen island is designed for indoor use in kitchens, dining areas, or pantries. Its casters allow it to be moved across most standard flooring types. Ensure adequate space for opening doors and drawers.

Care: The painted grey MDF frame can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing and drying.
