The Pirelli P Zero Race TLR is a high-performance tubeless-ready tyre engineered for road cyclists who demand professional-grade speed and reliability. Developed alongside World Tour racing teams, it excels by balancing low rolling resistance with exceptional grip, making it a premier choice for competitive racing and fast-paced training. While it offers superior puncture protection and comfort through its advanced casing, users should note that its performance is optimized for modern wider rims and strict tubeless inflation limits.

Yes, this tyre is tubeless-ready but can be used with a standard inner tube if necessary.
The maximum pressure for hookless rims is 5 bar or 77 psi.
Yes, this guide focuses on the 700c x 28mm version, but other widths are available in the P Zero family.
The 700c x 28mm version weighs approximately 295g.
It is designed specifically for road performance; while it handles rough asphalt well, it is not intended for heavy gravel or off-road use.
It is recommended to check and top off your sealant every 3 to 6 months depending on usage and climate.
Ensure the tyre beads are fully seated in the center channel of the rim and use a high-volume tubeless pump or air compressor for the initial 'pop'.
Check that the tyre is properly seated. If leaking persists, shake the wheel laterally to distribute the sealant and plug the micro-pores in the casing.
Apply a small amount of soapy water to the bead area to reduce friction and allow the bead to slide over the rim edge more easily.
For a successful installation, ensure your rims are tubeless-ready and covered with high-quality rim tape. After seating the tyre beads, use a reliable tubeless sealant to ensure an airtight seal. For maintenance, check the sidewalls regularly for signs of debris and monitor your sealant levels every 3 to 6 months depending on local temperature and humidity. Always use a digital pressure gauge to verify your inflation levels, especially if riding hookless rims, as you must not exceed the maximum pressure of 5 bar (77 psi).
