Setting up the Watch
- Winding: Manually wind the watch by turning the crown clockwise about 20-30 times. This will provide an initial power reserve.
- Setting the Time and Date: Pull the crown out to the first position to set the date, and the second position to set the time.
- Securing the NATO Strap: Adjust the strap to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Refer to the Omega guide for proper strap adjustment.
Compatibility
The watch is compatible with various NATO straps, allowing for customization. However, using non-Omega straps may affect the aesthetic and may not be as durable.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or residue. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: Ensure the crown is fully screwed down before exposure to water. Have the seals checked regularly by a certified Omega service center.
- Servicing: The Co-Axial movement requires professional servicing every 5-7 years to maintain optimal performance.
- Storage: Store the watch in a safe place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Magnetic Fields: While resistant, avoid prolonged exposure to strong magnetic fields.
