No. These carabiners are not rated for climbing, mountaineering, or any form of life-safety support.
This model features a 4 x 6 mm dimension, making it a compact, lightweight option.
It is made for general utility, but it is recommended to dry it after exposure to moisture to prevent potential oxidation.
Please check your specific purchase invoice, as these are typically distributed by SolaDirect for versatile utility applications.
These are designed for light-duty utility and everyday organization, not for heavy industrial or high-load-bearing applications.
Check the hinge for dirt or debris buildup and clear it with compressed air or a soft brush.
This is normal cosmetic wear from metal-on-metal contact and does not affect the functional integrity of the clip.
No complex setup is required for these carabiners; they are ready for use immediately upon unboxing. To ensure the longevity of the spring-loaded mechanism, keep the gate free of debris like sand or dirt. If the carabiner is used in a wet or dirty environment, rinse it with fresh water and wipe it down with a dry cloth periodically to prevent the spring from seizing. Store in a dry place when not in use to avoid potential corrosion over long periods.
