Ensure the bag is stored in a dry place. Humidity can soften the discs and reduce their buoyancy.
Birds may need time to recognize new food sources; try scattering the feed at the same time and location daily to build a routine.
To ensure the longevity of the Copdock Mill Wheat Discs, store the 15kg bag in a cool, dry, and rodent-proof container. Keeping the feed away from moisture is essential to maintain the structural integrity of the discs and prevent molding. When introducing this feed, monitor the local waterfowl population to ensure they are consuming the feed readily. It is recommended to feed in moderation, as overfeeding can lead to uneaten waste that may impact water quality. Always ensure the birds have access to clean, fresh water if you are feeding them away from their natural pond environment.
