Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or oil. Lightly abrading smooth surfaces can improve adhesion.
- Dispense equal amounts of resin and hardener onto a clean, disposable surface (e.g., a piece of cardboard or plastic).
- Mix the two components thoroughly with a spatula or mixing stick for the specified time (usually 1-2 minutes) until a uniform color and consistency is achieved.
- Apply the mixed adhesive to one surface immediately.
- Join the surfaces and hold them firmly in place for the recommended handling time.
Compatibility:
This adhesive is compatible with glass, ceramics, metal, wood, concrete, leather, rubber, and many plastics (excluding polyethylene, PTFE, and nylon). Always test on an inconspicuous area of plastics if unsure.
Care:
Store unused tubes tightly capped in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Clean up any uncured adhesive residue with a damp cloth or appropriate solvent (refer to product packaging for specific recommendations). Once cured, the adhesive is generally resistant to water and many common chemicals.
