Product Information
Full details
The Broadway Oak Bed Frame is designed for homeowners seeking a sophisticated blend of rustic charm and contemporary design in their master bedroom. Its primary benefit is the combination of a robust, solid oak and pine construction with a plush upholstered headboard that provides exceptional comfort for reading or lounging. A notable caveat to consider is that the bed frame is sold individually, meaning you will need to purchase a compatible 6ft Super King mattress separately to complete your sleeping setup.

FAQs
Is the mattress included with the bed frame?
No, this is a bed frame only. A Super King 6ft mattress must be purchased separately.
What tools do I need for assembly?
Basic hand tools are usually sufficient, though a power drill on a low-torque setting can speed up the process. Always follow the included manual.
How much weight can the bed support?
The bed is designed for standard residential use for two adults. The combination of the metal centre rail and solid wood construction provides robust support.
Can I fit my own storage boxes underneath?
Yes, the bed provides 23.5cm of clearance, which is ideal for most standard flat storage boxes.
Is the headboard fabric removable for washing?
No, the headboard is integrated into the frame. We recommend spot-cleaning any spills or using a fabric protector spray upon initial assembly.
Troubleshooting
Squeaking or noise when moving
Check all connection points and tighten the bolts on the side rails and centre rail. Ensure the pine slats are seated correctly in their housings.
Headboard fabric feels dusty or stained
Use a specialized upholstery foam cleaner for stains, ensuring you spot-test an inconspicuous area first. Regular vacuuming helps prevent deep-set dust.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Versatile grey finish complements many bedroom interiors
- Practical underbed clearance for storage
Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup requires basic tools and at least two people due to the size and weight of the Super King components. Ensure that the frame is assembled on a flat, level surface to prevent uneven pressure on the wooden joints.
Compatibility: This frame is strictly designed for a standard UK Super King (6ft) mattress. Using a mattress with different dimensions may result in poor support or safety issues.
Care Instructions:
- Wood Maintenance: Dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may strip the protective lacquer.
- Fabric Care: Vacuum the headboard gently using an upholstery attachment to remove dust. Blot spills immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth, avoiding saturation of the fabric.
- Tightening: Periodically check and tighten all bolts and screws every 6-12 months to ensure the frame remains sturdy.
