Full details
Step into a world of fiery elegance with the Tulip 'Jimmy'. Introduced in 1966, this flame orange tulip has graced gardens for decades, becoming a symbol of spring's passionate embrace. Its rich orange blooms, accentuated with a distinct rose-red flame down the centre, not only capture the eye but the imagination. This dazzling display is further enhanced by the contrasting blue/grey foliage, making the Tulip 'Jimmy' a masterpiece in any floral collection. Supplied as 8x Tulip ‘Jimmy’ Bulbs. How to Grow: Light - Opt for a sunny position, shielded from intense winds for best growth. Temperature: Set them in late summer or autumn to ensure they receive the necessary winter chill. Watering - Ensure soil remains moist but avoid waterlogging, which tulips detest. Feeding: Post bloom, let the foliage naturally wither before removing to ensure bulb health. Humidity: Prioritise well-draining soil to prevent overly damp conditions. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Features: Exquisite Flame Orange Hue: Distinctive and vibrant, setting it apart from traditional tulips Striking Spring Colour: Ensures that your garden becomes a focal point of admiration Rose-Red Flame Down the Petals: A dramatic touch that adds depth and intrigue to each bloom Complementary Blue/Grey Foliage: Offers a visually stunning contrast to the fiery blooms Proven Performer Since 1966: A trusted and established favourite amongst garden enthusiasts Specifications: Model Number: KF5670
