Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation requires careful planning. Ensure the subfloor is level and capable of supporting the tray and its intended load. The tray must be properly supported, often with a specific leg system or a solid bed of mortar, to prevent flexing and ensure longevity. A suitable shower waste trap (not included) must be fitted to the integrated drain outlet, ensuring a watertight seal. Professional installation is highly recommended to ensure correct alignment, sealing, and compliance with building regulations.
Compatibility:
This tray is designed for use within spacious shower enclosures. It is compatible with most standard shower doors and screens, provided they are designed for a 1600mm x 800mm footprint. The centre drain suits standard waste outlets, but compatibility with specific plumbing systems should be verified before purchase. The cuttable nature offers limited customisation, but major alterations to its shape are not advised.
Care:
Clean the tray regularly using a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface finish and the antibacterial coating. Rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. For stubborn marks, a diluted solution of white vinegar can be used sparingly, followed by a thorough rinse.
