The HobbyWing MAX10 G2 Combo is designed for RC enthusiasts seeking enhanced control and performance in their vehicles. Its key benefit is an upgraded sensored mode and adjustable Turbo timing for a significant boost in speed and responsiveness, though users should be aware that advanced timing adjustments require careful monitoring to prevent overheating. This combo includes an 80A ESC and a 3652SD 3300KV motor, featuring improved waterproof connections and smart start-stop fan technology for quieter operation and power saving.

The MAX10 G2 ESC supports 2S to 4S LiPo batteries.
The fan is designed to remain off until the ESC's internal temperature reaches a preset threshold, at which point it activates to provide cooling. It will then stop again once the temperature drops below that threshold, saving power and reducing noise.
The Turbo timing feature can be adjusted on the ESC, but it provides maximum benefits and optimal performance when paired with compatible HobbyWing EzRun 3652/3665 SD G3 series motors.
The MAX10 G2 features an improved waterproof sensored cable interface, offering enhanced resistance to water and dust, but it is recommended to dry the system thoroughly after exposure to wet conditions.
Turbo timing adjustments are typically made using a compatible HobbyWing LCD Program Box or through the HobbyWing mobile app via the SkyLink adapter. Consult your product manual for specific instructions.
The included motor in this combo is the 3652SD 3300KV G3 motor.
ESC calibration involves turning on your transmitter with throttle at neutral, then turning on the ESC. Move the throttle trigger to full throttle until you hear a beep, then to full brake until you hear another beep. Finally, return the throttle to neutral until you hear a final confirmation beep. Refer to the ESC manual for precise steps.
Check the wiring between the ESC and motor, ensuring all three motor wires are correctly connected. Verify the sensored cable is securely plugged into both the ESC and motor. Recalibrate the ESC to the transmitter. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged.
Reduce the Turbo timing setting. Ensure the motor and ESC have adequate airflow. Check for any binding in the drivetrain. Clean any debris from the motor and ESC heatsink. Verify the battery voltage is appropriate for the system.
Allow the ESC to cool down completely before attempting to restart. Re-evaluate your gearing and Turbo timing settings, as they may be too aggressive for the current conditions. Ensure the ESC fan is functioning correctly.
Re-bind the transmitter to the receiver. Re-calibrate the ESC throttle endpoints. Check the receiver battery voltage and signal connection to the ESC.
