Rustins Surface Cleaner - 300ml

It is used to effectively remove accumulated wax and dirt from old furniture without damaging the original finish.

It is designed for original finishes on old furniture. It's always best to test on an inconspicuous area first, as some modern or sensitive finishes may react differently.

Apply sparingly to a clean, soft cloth or directly onto the surface, then wipe clean. Ensure good ventilation.

While it can be used on old painted finishes, always test in a hidden spot first to ensure the paint does not lift or become softened.

Store in its original container with the lid tightly closed in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight.

Use as needed to remove dirt and wax build-up. Frequent aggressive cleaning is generally not recommended for antique furniture; assess the need based on the furniture's condition.

Ensure you are using a clean cloth and not over-applying the product. Wipe with a separate, clean, slightly damp cloth if necessary, then dry thoroughly.

This might indicate excessive solvent use. Allow the surface to dry completely and consider a light polish with a suitable furniture wax afterwards.

Ensure the dirt is wax or grime based. For other types of stains, this cleaner may not be suitable. Apply a little more product and allow it to sit for a moment before wiping.
