Trixie Long Hair Metal Brush - TRIXIE

Yes, it is suitable for long-haired cat breeds, though you should use a lighter touch than you would with a dog.

It is generally recommended to use this brush on dry hair to prevent tangling and to ensure easier removal of dead hair.

You can manually pull the hair out or use a small comb to rake the fur out from between the metal rows.

It helps with light tangles, but severe, tightly packed mats may require a specialized dematting tool or professional grooming.

For long-haired pets, brushing 2-3 times a week is generally recommended to prevent matting and manage shedding.

Reduce pressure and angle the brush so the teeth are not perpendicular to the skin.

Use a detangling spray first and work through the tangle slowly from the ends of the fur.
