FAQs
What material is the Speero Tackle Pouch made from?
The pouch is constructed from durable 600D Denier nylon, known for its strength and resistance to abrasion.
What are the dimensions of the pouch?
The pouch measures 29cm in height, 20cm in width, and 6cm in length.
How many compartments does the pouch have?
It features a single main compartment and two internal pockets, both secured with zips.
Is the pouch waterproof?
While the 600D nylon offers good water resistance, the pouch is not fully waterproof due to the zippers and seams. It's best to keep electronics or sensitive items in a separate waterproof bag if heavy rain is expected.
Can I attach the pouch to my belt?
The pouch does not have a dedicated belt loop, but the moulded grab handle could potentially be used to clip it onto a carabiner attached to a belt or backpack.
What is the fastening type?
The main compartment uses a twin zip fastening, meaning it has two zippers that meet in the middle.
How should I clean the tackle pouch?
Wipe the pouch with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Troubleshooting
Zippers are stiff or difficult to move.
Clean the zippers thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or grit. Apply a small amount of silicone-based zipper lubricant or wax to the zipper teeth and work the slider back and forth until smooth.
Seams are fraying.
Trim any loose threads carefully with scissors. For minor fraying, applying a small amount of fabric glue or seam sealer can help prevent further unraveling.
Internal pockets are difficult to close.
Ensure the pockets are not overstuffed. Rearrange items to allow for proper closure of the zippers.
