Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your sail, secure the corners using heavy-duty hardware such as stainless steel tensioners or D-shackles. Since the fabric is water-resistant, ensure the sail is installed with a slight tilt (at least 20-30 degrees) to allow water to run off rather than pooling in the center, which could lead to sagging or material fatigue. For care, clean the sail periodically using a mild soap and water solution with a soft sponge. Avoid using high-pressure washers or abrasive chemicals, as these can damage the UV-resistant coating. It is highly recommended to take down and store the sail during the winter months or during high-wind events to prevent damage.
