Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the lantern is placed in a location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours per day. This is crucial for optimal charging.
- Remove any protective film or packaging.
- The lantern is designed for automatic operation. Once placed in sunlight, it will charge and turn on automatically when it gets dark.
Compatibility:
This solar lantern is designed for outdoor use. It is compatible with most outdoor environments. No electrical compatibility is required as it is solar-powered.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the lantern gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the plastic wrap and frame.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the solar panel on top of the lantern to ensure it is clean and free of debris (leaves, dust, etc.). A clean panel ensures efficient charging.
- Winter Storage: For prolonged life, especially in harsh climates, consider bringing the lantern indoors during winter months or periods of heavy frost and snow.
