Assembly of the Oxford cotbed should be performed on a soft surface, such as a rug, to avoid scratching the finish. Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely during the initial setup and periodically checked as the child ages. For the mattress, the Airmesh cover can be unzipped and machine washed according to the care label instructions to keep the sleeping surface fresh. Keep the under-bed drawer clean by wiping with a dry, soft cloth, avoiding harsh chemicals that could damage the wood. Always ensure the mattress sits firmly against the cot sides to eliminate gaps.
