Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: As an automatic watch, the Aquaracer Professional 200 is powered by the movement of your wrist. To start it, gently shake the watch for about 30 seconds, or manually wind it by turning the crown clockwise about 40 times while it is in the closed position. Ensure the crown is fully screwed down after setting the time and date to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility: This watch is designed for universal wearability with its 30mm case and stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet features a push-button deployment clasp for secure and easy fastening.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the finish and materials.
- Water Resistance: Always ensure the crown is screwed down tightly before exposing the watch to water. If the watch has been submerged in salt water, rinse it with fresh water and dry it thoroughly. Professional servicing every 2-3 years is recommended to maintain water resistance and movement accuracy.
- Winding: If the watch is not worn daily, it may need to be rewound. Use a watch winder or manually wind it as described above to keep the movement running.
