The coat is showerproof, meaning it protects well against light rain and drizzle, but it is not intended for heavy, sustained downpours.
It is recommended to air dry to protect the synthetic padding and outer nylon fabric; always check the care label for specific temperature warnings if you must use a dryer.
No, the hood is a fixed design to ensure maximum weather protection and security.
Yes, the sizing follows standard children's UK measurements. If you are planning to layer thick sweaters underneath, you may consider sizing up.
The exterior is constructed from durable, high-quality nylon.
For minor spots, use a damp cloth. For deeper cleans, the coat is machine washable on a gentle cycle.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently clean any dirt or debris from the zip track using a soft cloth.
Over time, the water-repellent finish may degrade. Re-apply a spray-on waterproof treatment specifically designed for nylon outerwear.
This coat is designed to be a grab-and-go outer layer and requires no specific setup. To maintain the integrity of the showerproof nylon, always follow the care label instructions provided on the internal tag. The coat is machine washable, which simplifies maintenance after outdoor play. We recommend washing on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and avoiding harsh bleaches. To preserve the shape of the padding, shake the garment out after drying and hang it properly in a ventilated space. Avoid tumble drying on high heat to prevent potential damage to the nylon shell.
