Trade Paints Mordant Solution T Wash is a chemical pre-treatment used to prepare galvanized metal surfaces for painting. How it works: The solution chemically etches the surface, creating a rougher, darker finish that helps paint adhere. What it's used for: Mordant solution is ideal for new galvanized steel surfaces where blasting or abrasion isn't possible. How to apply: Apply the solution with a brush or by dipping, making sure the entire surface is coated. Let it react until the surface changes color, which usually takes 30 minutes to 2 hours. Application: Brush, Rag, Sponge. Chemically Etches New Galvanised Steel. Provides Adhesion For Subsequent Metal Primer.
