Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon purchasing your Merida Espresso 400 EQ, ensure the battery is fully charged before your first trip. The internally routed cables maintain a clean look, so avoid pulling on them during setup.
Maintenance Tips:
- Check Tire Pressure: Keep the 50mm tires inflated to the recommended range to prevent pinch flats and maximize battery efficiency.
- Brake Inspections: Periodically check the hydraulic fluid levels and brake pad thickness, especially if you ride in wet conditions frequently.
- Drive System Care: Keep the drivetrain clean and lubricated. Do not use high-pressure water washers directly on the motor or electrical components.
- Battery Storage: Store and charge the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If the bike will not be used for an extended period, store the battery at approximately 50-60% charge.
