These over-ear headphones are designed for hearing impaired people and have an adjustable volume of up to 125dB SPL, making them suitable for individuals with hearing loss ranging from low to severe. They feature a frequency response of 40 to 20,000Hz and weigh only 260 grams. The volume, left/right balance, and tone controls are directly accessible from the headset for easy adjustments. The headphones can connect to smartphones via a 3.5mm audio input, allowing for use without the main base, making them portable for daily commutes. However, direct connection to a sound source like a smartphone does not enable amplification; this feature only works with the base. The headset offers 8 hours of continuous use on a full charge, which takes 6 hours. Charging can be done by placing the headset on its base, using an external battery, or connecting directly to a laptop. The main base is compatible with TVs via analogue, optical, or RCA outputs and can also connect to other audio devices like radios and DVD players with a 3.5mm audio output. The headset automatically turns off after four minutes of inactivity to conserve battery.
