Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
To begin, ensure you have the necessary tools, including scissors, a sewing machine (or needle and thread for hand sewing), pins, and a measuring tape. Pre-wash the fabric at 30 degrees to prevent shrinkage after the garment is made. Ironing the fabric before cutting will also help ensure accurate measurements.
Compatibility
This fabric is compatible with standard sewing machines. Use a fine needle size (e.g., size 70/10) to avoid damaging the delicate viscose fibers. It can be paired with various threads, however, it is recommended to test on a fabric scrap.
Care Instructions
- Washing: Machine wash at 30 degrees Celsius. Do not tumble dry.
- Ironing: Iron on a low setting, using steam if necessary. Place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent shine.
- Drying: Air dry the fabric. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
- Storage: Store the fabric in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality.
