Setup, Compatibility & Care

  1. Attaching the Fly: Securely tie the fly to your leader using a reliable knot, such as a loop knot or a clinch knot, to allow for natural movement.
  2. Line and Leader: Use a leader that matches the water clarity and fishing conditions. A fluorocarbon leader can offer added stealth. Match line weight to the rod weight.
  3. Casting: Cast the fly upstream or across the current, allowing it to drift naturally.
  4. Care: Rinse the fly with fresh water after each use to remove salt and debris. Store the flies in a dry fly box to prevent rust and damage.
