The Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 is designed for excellent all-season performance, offering enhanced grip on snow and ice, outstanding wet performance, and long mileage. Its features include a divergent V-groove and crossing narrow groove design, a flat and wide contour, and a low-heat generated under-tread compound. The rubber compound is locked with micro-silica, ensuring stable flexibility and grip in both summer heat and winter cold. Large shoulder blocks improve lateral stability and cornering support on dry roads. The central circumferential groove, along with divergent V-grooves, effectively drains water and snow. Thin through grooves enhance the tire's "blade effect" for improved braking, traction, and lateral stability in snowy conditions, while also improving drainage efficiency. The optimized arrangement of straight "all-season" slats increases the "blade effect" on snow-covered surfaces and maintains tread rigidity on dry roads. Unlike dedicated winter tires, the BluEarth-4S features an extended tread for improved dry road performance.
