FAQs

How does the self-inflating feature work?

The mattress contains open-cell foam that expands when the valve is opened, drawing in air and inflating the mattress.

How do I deflate the mattress?

Open the valve(s) and roll the mattress from the foot end towards the valve(s), pushing the air out. Close the valve(s) when fully deflated.

What is the R-Value, and why is it important?

The R-Value is a measure of thermal resistance. The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation. An R-Value of 5.2 makes this mattress suitable for colder temperatures.

Can I use this mattress in winter?

Yes, with an R-Value of 5.2, this mattress provides excellent insulation and is suitable for use in winter camping.

What is the weight of the mattress?

The mattress weighs 1.7 kg.

What are the dimensions of the mattress?

The dimensions are 190 x 65 x 4.5 cm.

Does it come with a carry case?

Yes, a carry case is included for easy transport and storage.

Can I twin this mattress with another?

Yes, it is designed to be twinned with another of the same model.

Troubleshooting

Mattress is not fully inflating.

Ensure the valve is open and the surrounding environment is warm. You may need to add air by mouth to fully inflate. Check for any leaks around the valve.

Mattress feels deflated during the night.

Ensure the valve is properly closed. If it continues, check for any punctures and repair with a patch kit if needed.

The mattress is not as firm as desired.

Add additional air by mouth to achieve the desired firmness. Be careful not to over-inflate.
