Full details
You’re in a terribly familiar place. Floating debris from exploding asteroids bounces off the hull of your spacecraft. Meteors activate proximity sensors while you hurl towards certain doom. Blast your way through a massive field of asteroids with your photon cannon to save your ship—and your life! Sure you have played Asteroids. But have you played Asteroids Deluxe? With new gameplay and graphics, including competition and team variations, Asteroids Deluxe is an intense recreation of the addictive arcade classic for the Atari 7800+. It features a new shield that depletes with use, killer satellites that splinter and chase you when hit, faster asteroids, and more accurate enemies. It also includes a head-to-head competition mode and a two-player team mode. Programmed by Robert DeCrescenzo, a talented member of Atari’s homebrew community, it is compatible with Atari 7800+, 7800, and 2600+ consoles.
