The V 160 010 of the DB in Epoch III as prototypical shape variant of the BR 216 of PIKO. The specific characteristics of the prototype were precisely transferred into the model. The V 160 or 216 series was the express train locomotive for routes without contact wire in the 1960s and 1970s with the Federal Railways. The PIKO model combines realistic conversion with excellent handling characteristics. These attributes are underlined by the effective use of perfect engravings and a coating that is harmonious into the smallest detail. Modern LED technology serves as the basis for the light change in red/white and the lighting functions that can be switched by retrofitting a digital decoder. The latest technology is the digital interface PluX22 for easy installation of a decoder. The accompanying accessories allow the buffer beam of the vehicle to be completed as per the prototype. This text is machine translated.
