Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Initial Setup:
- Winding: If the watch has stopped, gently wind the crown clockwise about 30-40 times until you feel resistance. This sets the power reserve.
- Setting Time and Date: Pull the crown out to the first position to set the date. Pull it out to the second position to set the time. Always set the date between 9 AM and 3 AM to avoid mechanical issues.
Compatibility:
This is a standalone analog watch and does not require electronic compatibility with other devices.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel bracelet and case with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher spots, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant up to 5 ATM, avoid exposing the watch to steam, hot water, or excessive humidity. Ensure the crown is pushed in fully before any contact with water.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original box, when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches.
- Servicing: For optimal long-term performance, it is recommended to have the watch serviced by a qualified watchmaker every 3-5 years.
