Product Information
Full details
The Korum Touch Ledger is designed for anglers who specialize in traditional fishing techniques, specifically those requiring precision when targeting shy-biting species or fishing under near-side cover. This 6g weight provides a significant advantage over standard bulk shot by improving bait presentation and reducing snags, though its performance is best suited for specific bottom-fishing scenarios rather than high-flow river conditions.

FAQs
Is the Korum Touch Ledger made of lead?
No, this product is constructed from non-toxic materials, making it safe for use in all fisheries.
Can I use this for long-distance casting?
While it is aerodynamic, the 6g weight is designed for delicate, short-to-medium range ledgering rather than long-distance casting.
Does the 6g weight refer to the total package or just the lead?
The product is a specific 6g weight designed for refined presentation.
How do I avoid line twists with this ledger?
The integrated free-spinning swivel is specifically engineered to rotate with the rig, preventing the line from twisting during retrieval.
Can this be used for night fishing?
Yes, its consistent weight and anti-snag properties make it excellent for short-range work in the dark when you cannot visually see your rig.
Troubleshooting
The rig is still tangling
Check that your hook-length is not longer than the distance from the ledger to the swivel and ensure the swivel rotates freely.
Line twist occurring
Ensure no grit or dirt is stuck inside the swivel housing; clean with water and verify the swivel spins smoothly.
Ledger getting stuck in heavy weeds
The 6g weight is best for light cover. If fishing in extreme weed, consider a lighter presentation or a popup rig.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Significantly reduces snagging compared to bulk shot
- Prevents annoying line twists through a free-spinning design
- Non-toxic construction safe for all waterways
- Easier to cast without tangling
- Perfect for bite detection in shy species
Cons
- Specific weight of 6g may be too light for high-flow rivers
- Requires proper setup to maximize the anti-tangle benefits
- Limited to bottom-ledgering fishing techniques
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the Korum Touch Ledger, thread your mainline through the eye of the swivel and attach a link to your hook-length. Ensure the swivel is free to rotate completely to maintain its anti-tangle functionality. This ledger is compatible with most standard ledgering setups including running rigs and paternoster styles. For care, simply rinse the ledger in freshwater after use to remove any silt or debris from the swivel housing. Store in a dry tackle box to prevent internal corrosion of the swivel component.
