Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the area around the cable entry point is clean and dry.
- Position the plate over the damaged brickwork or cable entry hole.
- Option 1 (Screws): Mark the screw hole positions, drill pilot holes if necessary, and secure the plate using appropriate screws (not included).
- Option 2 (Silicone Sealant): Apply a generous bead of exterior-grade silicone sealant around the edge of the plate that will contact the wall. Press the plate firmly into place.
- For maximum water protection, using silicone sealant around the edges of the plate after fixing it is recommended.
Compatibility:
This plate is designed for standard external brickwork where cables (such as satellite, coaxial, aerial, or broadband) enter a property. Its effectiveness relies on the size of the damaged area or entry hole being covered by the plate's dimensions.
> Info needed: Exact dimensions of the plate to confirm coverage for specific applications.
Care:
The plate is made from durable, weatherproof, and UV-resistant plastic. Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
