Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires basic hand tools: a sharp utility knife or heavy-duty scissors, a tape measure, and appropriate adhesive tape or mounting hardware suitable for your specific surface.
- Measure: Carefully measure the dimensions of the area to be insulated.
- Cut: Lay the roll flat on a clean surface and cut to size using your measurements.
- Apply: Fasten the insulation to the desired surface, ensuring the reflective side faces the heat source for maximum efficiency.
- Seal: Use reflective foil tape at the seams to maintain a continuous vapor barrier.
For care, the aluminum surface is low-maintenance; it can be wiped down with a damp cloth if dust or debris accumulates. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers which could damage the thin aluminum reflective coating.
