Crafted with attention to detail and using 18/10 Stainless Steel, the Opera range is robust and built to last. Opera hoods are available in widths ranging from 90cm - 150cm. This hood offers the choice of ducting or re-circulating. Venting/ducting out provides optimum extraction of cooking fumes by expelling them outside, using a vent kit (available as an optional accessory). This hood has a 150mm vent outlet. Re-circulating extracts cooking fumes and passes them through active charcoal filters (available as an optional accessory), recirculating the cleaned air back into the room. An intensive speed can be selected for quick extraction of even the strongest cooking odours. The long-lasting LED lights perfectly illuminate the work surface below and can be switched on regardless of the fans for ambience lighting. Some models have grease filters that are easily removed and cleaned in the dishwasher. The Opera classic-styled KD100HNE 100cm chimney hood from Smeg boasts 3 speed settings and an intensive mode with up to 792 m/hr extraction rate, ideal for larger kitchens.
