It provides excellent water repellency and long-lasting protection. The attractive matt finish helps to prevent efflorescence, moss and algae growth and creates a self-cleaning surface tension that reduces the need for regular maintenance. This professional-grade sealer creates a matt looking finish. The safe formula imparts excellent water repellency and stain resistance. Essential Sandstone Sealer Matt (dry) Finish has a technical formula that significantly reduces the capillary water absorption of the treated surface, but doesn’t clog the pores or capillaries. This reduces the potential for organic soiling and moss and algae growth, whilst allowing the surface material the ability to “breathe” and transfer moisture vapour. Ensure a specialised sealer for outdoor natural sandstone surfaces with the StoneCare4U Essential Matt Finish Sandstone Sealer 5L. It is also suitable for limestone and slate. This fast-drying solution creates a durable, matte appearance that effectively resists stains. It provides exceptional water resistance and long-lasting protection. The matte finish not only prevents efflorescence but also inhibits the growth of green algae, resulting in a self-cleaning surface that requires less maintenance. Moreover, this environmentally friendly formula offers outstanding water repellence and stain resistance. The unique composition of the sealer significantly reduces water absorption without blocking the pores or capillaries. This feature helps minimise the risk of organic soiling and green algae growth while allowing the material to breathe and release moisture vapour. How to apply: Remove any loose debris from the work surface and ensure you have adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, suitable protective eyewear, face mask and clothing. Leave the surface for a minimum of 72 hours with clear and dry weather to ensure the surface is completely dry and ready to be sealed. Application temperature range: 13 degrees to 23 degrees Celsius. Therefore, before application, the surface must be completely clean and dry. Application methods include a low-pressure sprayer, roller, natural fibre brush or sponge. Apply sealer to saturation, two coats “wet on wet” are needed to ensure complete coverage. Do not dilute. The surface should be dry after 45 to 60 minutes. If rain is forecast or starts, then stop treatment immediately and cover the freshly impregnated areas, the surface is required to stay completely dry for the first 6 hours after application. Please note: The sealer may cause a change of colour on some surfaces - always try the product in an inconspicuous area before use. Surfaces that are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material. Maintenance: Clean sealed areas with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner or a very low concentration of our outdoor cleaner range. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents, as this can have a negative effect on the treated surface. Coverage: Average 4 to 6sq metres per litre. Coverage will vary depending on surface porosity.
