Dechra CerumAural Ear Flush is an essential ear hygiene solution for dog and cat owners looking to maintain optimal ear health or prepare ear canals for medical treatment. Formulated with squalene, this potent ceruminolytic agent excels at breaking down stubborn wax and debris without causing irritation. While highly effective at dissolving wax, it is important to note that this product is a cleaning solution and not a replacement for veterinary-prescribed medicated ear drops for active infections.

It is intended for routine maintenance or pre-treatment cleaning. Follow your veterinarian's recommendation for the specific frequency based on your pet's ear health.
Yes, CerumAural is formulated to be safe for both dogs and cats.
No, this is a wax cleaner. It is not an acaricide and will not kill ear mites.
Do not use any ear flush if you suspect a ruptured eardrum. Seek veterinary attention immediately.
Wipe the tip with a clean tissue or alcohol swab after each use to keep it sanitary.
Warm the bottle in your hand for a few minutes to bring it to body temperature, and offer a high-value treat after the process to create a positive association.
If the buildup is extremely hardened or deep, do not force it. Consult your veterinarian for a professional cleaning to avoid damaging the ear canal.
CerumAural is compatible with most pets, but it is critical to confirm the health of the ear canal before use. If you suspect your pet has an ear infection, discharge, or a damaged eardrum, consult your veterinarian before applying any flush. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the formula. Ensure the applicator tip is kept clean to prevent cross-contamination between ears.
