Yes, but it is recommended to use a slightly higher browning setting than you would for fresh bread to ensure it heats through properly.
The slots measure 100 x 100mm, which is wide enough for most standard bagels, crumpets, and thick artisan bread slices.
Yes, once the selected browning cycle is complete, the toaster will automatically pop up the bread and cut power to the heating elements.
Unplug the toaster and let it cool completely. Use wooden or plastic tongs to gently remove the item; never use metal utensils inside the slots while plugged in.
The toaster features built-in cord storage, providing a standard length suitable for most kitchen countertops. If you need more length, ensure you are using a certified extension lead.
Ensure the bread is centered in the slot and check that the heating elements are free of stuck food debris.
Check that the appliance is plugged into a functional outlet and that the bread is sufficiently thick to trigger the internal mechanism.
This is often caused by old crumbs caught in the heating chamber; ensure you are cleaning the crumb tray regularly.
To set up your toaster, place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from curtains or hanging fabrics. Before first use, run the toaster empty on the highest setting once to burn off any manufacturing residue in a well-ventilated room.
For ongoing care, ensure the toaster is completely unplugged and cooled before cleaning. Slide out the bottom crumb tray at least once a week to remove debris, as an accumulation of crumbs can create a fire hazard. Use a damp cloth to wipe the exterior, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could scratch the white finish.
