Carlube Molybdenum 2 Grease is a high-performance lithium-based lubricant designed for automotive enthusiasts and mechanics who need heavy-duty protection for high-load, limited-movement joints. Fortified with Molybdenum Disulfide, this grease excels in extreme pressure environments like constant velocity (CV) joints, splined shafts, and steering components, though users should ensure it meets the specific viscosity and compatibility requirements of their vehicle manufacturer before application.

Only if your vehicle manufacturer specifically recommends a Molybdenum-fortified grease. Many modern high-speed wheel bearings require non-moly greases.
Generally, it is compatible with other lithium-based lubricants, but it is always best practice to purge old grease before applying a fresh batch.
It provides a 'dry' layer of lubrication that protects metal surfaces when the base grease is squeezed out under extreme pressure.
Yes, the formulation is designed to be safe for standard automotive rubber and neoprene boot materials.
Follow the service intervals outlined in your vehicle's maintenance manual, as frequency depends on driving conditions and mileage.
Keep the grease tub in a warmer environment (room temperature) before use or use a high-leverage grease gun.
Verify that the mechanical part is not already damaged or excessively worn; grease cannot repair pre-existing metal fatigue.
To ensure optimal performance, start by removing all traces of old, degraded grease from the component using a solvent-based cleaner. Apply the grease manually or via a standard grease gun, ensuring the housing is filled to the manufacturer's recommended capacity to allow for thermal expansion. Always check your vehicle manual to confirm that a Molybdenum-fortified grease is specified for your particular bearing or joint type. Store the tub in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly sealed to prevent contamination from dust or moisture.
