This Loctite Threadlocker 248 Med 19G Stick is designed for DIY enthusiasts and professionals who need to secure threaded fasteners up to 3/4" in diameter. Its key benefit is providing a removable bond that prevents vibration loosening, allowing parts to be disassembled with standard hand tools. A potential caveat is its specific suitability for a defined fastener size range. This adhesive glue comes in a convenient 19g stick format for easy application and offers a medium strength, removable bond.

Yes, parts can be separated using standard hand tools because it provides a removable strength bond.
The product comes in a 19g stick format, allowing for direct and clean application onto the threads of the fastener.
It provides a medium-strength bond that is removable.
This product is primarily designed for metal threaded fasteners and is not recommended for use on plastics.
Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ensuring the cap is securely closed after each use.
Removable strength means the bond holds fasteners securely against vibration but can still be taken apart with standard hand tools when necessary, preventing permanent adhesion.
Ensure threads are clean, dry, and free of oil or grease. Reapply the threadlocker after proper cleaning.
Apply heat to the assembly (up to 204°C or 400°F) using a torch or heat gun, then attempt disassembly with hand tools.
Ensure the cap was securely closed after the last use. If significantly dry, a new stick may be required.
Setup: Ensure threads are clean and dry before application. Wipe off any excess dust or oil. Twist the stick applicator to expose the adhesive and apply directly to the male threads of the fastener. Assemble parts as usual.
Compatibility: Suitable for most metal threaded fasteners between 1/4" and 3/4" diameter. Not recommended for use on plastics or porous materials.
Care: Store the stick in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is securely closed after use to prevent drying. Clean application tool (if any) immediately after use.
